What you'll see on the MSN web site
The MSN Start Page is your guide to untangling the web. It not only provides the information you use most often, but also includes links to the rest of the Internet.
The MSN Start Page has four sections:
- Explore the Internet: Searches,
Services,
Links, and
Tutorial
Searches take you to web sites on any subject you can imagine, using the Internet's largest and most powerful searching tools.
Use Services to look up anything from a telephone number to a great vacation spot.
Links has lists of the best sites on the web in eight categories, updated weekly. Plus a selection of the best the web has to offer.
The Tutorial is the section you are in now. Use it to pick up tips and techniques for web browsing.

Products is the place to look if you're considering buying a Microsoft product, or to get the most from the products you already have. You'll find product information of all sorts, including updates, answers to technical questions, tips, and more.
In Support, you'll find all the technical information available on Microsoft products, including the entire Microsoft Knowledge Base.
In Downloads, you'll find useful software you can download to your computer for free, including Internet Assistant, and updates and demos of Microsoft Home products.
- About MSN, The Microsoft Network
Find out how to become an MSN member, what special events are happening today, and what companies and forums are on MSN. If you see a forum or event that interests you, click it to link right to it.
- Custom Options
You can put useful information right on the MSN Start Page. A questionnaire lists your choices, including stock quotes, sports scores, weather reports, and breaking news, to cartoons and a joke of the day.
After you fill out the questionnaire, each time you start your browser, the MSN Start Page will have your selection of information ready for you.
